The Blog for Darfur day sounds really cool. I have been researching Darfur for the past year or so and am appaled that the violence has continued as long as it has. Hopefully this Blog for Darfur day can make a difference!

One thing I do every day is art. It’s really small, but an example of what I do is in that little icon <—– I can post a bigger link some other time.

I am paid to do portraits of pets, and love doing it. My favorite subjects are dogs, horses, and fish (sounds lame, I know). I draw probably 2 hours a day, colored pencils and graphite being my favorite “tools”. I have considered having art as a profession, but as of now I aspire to be a medical researcher or an engineer (possibly chemical). But I do think that no matter what, I will always do art whether for my job or not.

Does anyone else have an interest in art?
