Hey this is Ian from the Maryland. Im just checking in with all of you from the Bronx. Lets see of we can set up a skype interview for the middle of next week Wensday, Thursday something aroundd that time. We just need to tell you guys up there about our Darfur Day. Our class and other classes from all over the world are going to be taking part in this event. As you all know by now Darfur is a terrible place right now and the goverment isn’t doing anything about it. With over 200,000 deaths and 2 million people displaced from there home we need to raise awareness for this. Thats what the project is doing. So hope to talk with your class next week.

I never knew about Darfur and how the Sudan militia and Janjaweed are responsible for as many as 500,000 deaths and 2,500,000 displaced refugees. I feel so sorry for them nobody deserves to be hurt like that not even Darfur so I would like to make sure that my voice is among them. -

Hi! The weather here is bad to. Now there’s like a little pond near my school. I did not know about Darfur before and I feel bad about the people there. i did not know that a lot of people were dying there. The women, men, and children are dying I feel real sad for them. That should happen to no one. -

I want to participate in this project and would like to encourage more students to help out. Darfur has been suffuring many deaths, famine, and has increasing instability.
On the Many Voices for Darfur website it says:
“For 48 hours, starting at midnight eastern standard time on March 6, 2008, many student voices will be collected in the name of those suffering in Darfur. Be sure that your voice is among them.” -

Hey!
All Im gonna tell you is that Yesterday I took a visit to my old school and talked to my old Principal (Ms.Grimble) She said that she missed me and I said “I got one missed call” she got scared when I told her the name appeared as Charley cuz that iz her sons name and he works at the construction place around 178th street and Webster. I dont evan know the boy but when I heard da voice mail Charley said Hey Dude wa and then all i heard was a bang and the phone line cut off.
I was gonna let her hear da voice mail cuz I was a lil freaked out too but I deleted it right after I heard it.
Hey, have any one of u students seen da movie “One Missed Call”? -

I hope we can be numerous and I hope you can join our group if you have a facebook account, so that we can let them hear our voice and let people know about what is going on in Darfur!!!
Hopefully we’ll have even more participants and we can make our voices loud and clear!
